2010 Education Grant

 **** COUNTRY CARE PROGRAM - COUNTRY SUPPLY  *** 

The following educational grant will be awarded to SDHPA members who fall into the following categories: 

• SDHPA members during the 2010-2011 membership term.
• High School graduate in 2010, who will be continuing their formal education in an equine or non-related equine field, while attending an accredited educational institution.
• The name and address of the university, college, or accredited educational institution the applicant(s) will be attending.
• Submission of an equine or non-related equine essay titled: The person or person’s who was instrumental in guiding me through my high school years to seek further education.
•  ( family, friends, guidance counselors, etc)
• Completed essays sent to: SDHPA, PO Box 235, Hopewell Junction, N.Y. 12533. and postmarked on or before August 1, 2010

Upon receipt of the essays, the Educational Grant committee will forward all the applicant(s) essays to the SDHPA Board of directors. The SDHPA Treasurer will disperse the educational grant money directly to the educational institution or the guidance offices to be put in the students account.

 Dispersal of the grant money will be made as quickly as possible to the students account.
